Story Teller Part 7

But he cared damn, he was busy searching his desk and guess what, he got the second desk in first column.

Both of us were in the same dire situation.

We took our seats and I started thinking of my last exam (Quarterly) when I sat next to a senior of mine.

God, she was damn gorgeous, Tanushree. (Joyians, can you make out her real name?)

I am not very sure, but she must be in class 7th at that time as she was 2 years senior to me.
What? If you can have a crush on your teacher, can’t I have a crush on my senior? Stop perceiving my character and go ahead with the reading.

So…I guess Tanushree was the only pretty lady I have ever seen in my school before I saw HER.

Suddenly entered a very pretty girl in my class and sat next to me.

She was 2 years junior to me, she was in class 3rd.

Hold on guys, this is not the Bollywood movie where the heroine and hero meet all of a sudden and fall in love.

Again I was happy to see a beauty sitting next to me. She was very sweet.

Which subject? I asked just to start with the conversation.
‘English’ she said, and started arranging her examination gadgets i.e. pencil, scale, sharper etc.

Just to clarify the seating arrangements again, she was sitting right to me and Abhishek was on my left side in the first column, second row.

I turned toward Abhishek and gave him an impish smile.
He was a true friend of mine; he understood my steer and returned the same smile to me.

As if he is saying, carry on dear, I am with you. I can read those 7 golden words in his eyes which depicts the true friendship in Jabalpur i.e. ‘tere liye koi baat hai re pagla’.

To be continued…

Guys I need your comments on Facebook. That is the only source of inspiration for me to write.

Next post would be available on wednesday i.e.  on 1st of feb 2011, till then good bye...  :)

Story Teller part 6

Finally the 'D' day came when I met her....yes the Half Yearly Exam.

In our school, in order to avoid cheating etc. etc. students were shuffled to sit with the students of other class.

As I was a very bad/sad student, I always look for the luck factor instead of studies, like, I used to believe that ‘7’ is my lucky number and whenever a class is allotted to me, I try to make a 7 out of that number. E.g. class no 18 means 8 minus 1 = 7, or class no 14 means, number is divisible by 7. And whenever I get that (always somehow I manage to) I become confident that this time I’ll not fail at least 2 subjects (including Hindi).

Don’t mind but I am still a big follower of lucky number 7 J and there is no harm in it. It actually increases my confidence level.

So, after class allotment, I always look for more, the most important thing, i.e. the last desk of the class, because doing nothing at last desk is always better and cozy than doing the same at first desk.

But this time, my luck didn’t work and I got the First desk and that too the middle column. (There were three columns in our school in a class).

The examination day:
10:30 am Monday
Subject: Geography

‘Oh no, Abhishek, I got the first desk’
